# Tips for Deleting Chatter Feed Posts and Comments

Here are some useful things to know about deleting posts and comments in a Chatter feed.

### Required Editions

- You can delete any post that you create.
- You can delete any comment that you create.
- You can delete any comment on any post that you create, no matter who wrote the comment.
- On a record that you own, you can delete any post or comment from the feed.
- In groups, group owners and managers can delete almost any post or comment. When a post appears in a feed because of a mention, it can’t be deleted. The feed item must be deleted from the feed where the mention was entered.
- Users with the Modify All Data permission, can delete any post or comment.
- In Experience Cloud sites, moderators can delete any post or comment.
