# Who Can See My Attached Files and Links in Chatter?

Share files and links with people by attaching them to Chatter posts or comments.

Attach links and files to posts and comments from your device, Salesforce Files, Files Connect external sources, and Salesforce CRM Content libraries. All file types are supported. You can upload and download audio and video files, but you can’t parse or preview them.

This table describes who can see a file that you attached and where it appears:

Note

When you enable Chatter for your org, make sure you also enable Chatter for your users. This way, they can access all Salesforce files in your org, including asset files.
