# Share Data with Databricks

Share Data 360 objects with a Databricks account using a data share. Link the data share to a Databricks data share target to make the Data 360 objects available to the Databricks account.

Important

- Data shares don't honor the data governance policies enforced by Data 360. Apply those policies at the data share target.
- To comply with data policies and regulations, data sharing allows you to include the `IndividualGDPRState__dll` object, which provides individuals with consent information. You can create a join between Individual ID and other tables to honor the consent data for an individual at the data share target.
- Admins or privileged users in the receiving organization other than Salesforce Data 360 can view and query all records of the data lake objects (DLOs) mapped to data model objects (DMOs) in the data share. This depends on the security construct defined at the external system.

Before you begin, review [Supported Regions for Databricks Integration](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_data_shares_databricks_supportability.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Data Cloud supports integration with the Databricks regions listed in Databricks clouds and regions.").

1. Identify the Data 360 objects you want to share and create a data share in Data 360. For more information, see [Create a Data Share](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_create_data_shares.htm&type=5&language=en_US).
2. To establish connectivity with a Databricks account, create a data share target in Data 360. For more information, see [Create Data Share Target to Connect with Databricks](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_create_data_share_target_databricks.htm&type=5&language=en_US)
3. To make the Data 360 objects accessible in Databricks, link the data share with the data share target. For more information, see [Link or Unlink Data Shares and Data Share Targets](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_link_data_shares_with_data_share_target.htm&type=5&language=en_US).

You can view shared objects on the Databricks Catalog page.
