# Troubleshoot Salesforce Catalog Errors

Diagnose and fix the most common issues when setting up Salesforce Catalog.

Salesforce Catalog automatically creates and manages a set of underlying objects to build and maintain your data catalog—including connectors, data streams, data lake objects, data model objects, and their field mappings. To maintain the integrity of your catalog, don't directly modify these system-managed objects.
