# Manage Search Indexes

Create, view, edit, and delete search index configurations.

- **[Create a Search Index Configuration with Easy Setup](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_search_index_easy_setup_search_index.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Follow a few automated steps to create a hybrid search index configuration for a data model object (DMO) or an unstructured data model object (UDMO). Data 360 automatically applies defaults for the chunking and vectorization strategies, and creates chunk and index model objects.
- **[View Search Index Status and Process History](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_search_index_view_search_index.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
View details of search index configurations from the Search Index list view and the object record view to monitor the indexing process.
- **[Edit Search Index Configurations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_search_index_edit_search_index.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
If needed, you can edit Data 360 search index configurations to add fields or file extensions for chunking. You can view but not modify other existing settings.
- **[Rebuild a Search Index Configuration](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_search_index_rebuild_search_index.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
If a Data 360 search index doesn't process properly, you can trigger a full rebuild of the index from the list page or the object record view.
- **[Delete Search Index Configurations](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_search_index_delete_index_config.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
You can delete Data 360 search index configurations from the list view and the object record view.
- **[Add a Search Index Configuration to a Data Kit](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_search_index_in_data_kit.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
In Data 360, add search index configurations to a data kit to share functionality across users and environments.
- **[Create a Search Index Configuration from a Data Kit](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_search_index_create_index_config_data_kit.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
After you have deployed your data kit in Data 360, you can create a new search index configuration from a index it contains.
