# Edit Search Index Configurations

If needed, you can edit Data 360 search index configurations to add fields or file extensions for chunking. You can view but not modify other existing settings.

### Required Editions

1. From App Launcher, select **Data Cloud**.
2. Click **Search Index** > **Edit**.
3. From the Guided Setup navigation, click **Chunking**.
    - To add a file extension to a search index created from an unstructured data model object, click **Add File Extension**.
    - To add fields to a search index created from a data model object, click **Manage Fields** and then select one or more fields as needed.
4. From the Guided Setup navigation, click **Review and Build**, and then click **Save**.
