MDM is flexible and can handle various datasets from suppliers, locations, to countries, and cost centers. - **Unified Profiles**. Use Identity Resolution rulesets in Data 360 to create unified profiles that links data. Unified profiles retain contact point values from all your sources, so you can build a holistic view without losing, consolidating, or overwriting the underlying data. Because Data 360 isn’t an MDM system, its Identity Resolution capabilities don’t replace IDMC MDM functionality. Instead, it acts as a complement to your existing MDM solutions. Your MDM manages the master data, and unified profiles act as the activation layer that makes that data actionable.
