# Create an External Activation Platform Using JSON (ISV Partners)

Build an external activation platform in Data 360 Developer Edition using the Activation Toolkit to engage your customers.

### Required Editions

1. Click the gear icon and click **Data Cloud Setup**.
2. Click **External Activation Platform**.
3. Click **New**.
4. Select **JSON**.
5. Upload or copy the JSON in the textbox.
6. Click **Save**.

The new external activation platform based on the JSON file is created.
