# Enable Permissions for CRM Streaming

For CRM streaming, set these system and user permissions.

### Required Editions

The Streaming processing mode can change to batch for certain scenarios. See [CRM Connector Streaming](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_crm_connector_streaming.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Batch and stream processing handle data differently. Batch mode checks the data once at scheduled intervals of 10-15 minutes, and then processes and stores it in a Data Lake Object (DLO) that you can access. Streaming mode processes data with minimal latency, and reflects changes as soon as they're made in the org.").

1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission, and then select **Permission Sets**.
2. Select the **Data Cloud Salesforce Connector** permission set.
3. Click **System Permissions**.
4. Enable **View Setup and Configuration**, **Customize Application** and **Modify Metadata Through Metadata API Functions**.
5. Enable the **View All Users** permission located under **Users** for user data streams
6. Save your changes.
