Note You must be an AppExchange partner to publish a package to AppExchange.

1. [Create a data kit.](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_data_stream_bundle_package_kits.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Streamline package creation and the installation experience for Data 360 objects by wrapping together the metadata and relationships into a standard data kit. Use a Developer Edition org that supports managed packages to create and publish a standard data kit. Use a DevOps data kit to migrate metadata across orgs.")
2. After saving the data kit, under Clean Room Providers, select the provider name.
3. Verify that the publishing sequence of the data kit is visible and synced.
4. [Publish the data kit.](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_data_stream_bundle_package_kits.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Streamline package creation and the installation experience for Data 360 objects by wrapping together the metadata and relationships into a standard data kit. 5. [Add the data kit to Package Manager](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_publish_package_kit.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "After creating and publishing your data kit in Data 360 source org, add the data kit to a package and upload it using Package Manager in your Salesforce org.").

Important Select Managed when you create the package.

See the [AppExchange ISV Onboarding Guide](https://www.salesforce.com/en-us/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/documents/partners/readiness/appexchange_isv_onboarding_guide.pdf) for the requirements and steps to become a Salesforce Partner.

See the [The AppExchange Partner Console Guide](https://www.salesforce.com/en-us/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/documents/partners/readiness/the_appexchange_partner_console_guide.pdf) to use the Salesforce Partner Console.

**Next steps:**

- If you’re using Data 360 as the clean room platform, map your data as required in the collaboration template and save it as a mapped template. When a consumer deploys your package and sends an invitation, use the mapped template for the collaboration.
- If you’re using AWS Clean Rooms, publishing the package is your last action in Data 360. You accept the collaboration invitation and manage the rest of the collaboration in AWS Clean Rooms. See [Collaborating with an AWS Clean Rooms Provider](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_crc_collaborate_with_aws_provider.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "As a consumer using Data 360 clean rooms, you can initiate collaborations with a provider who uses AWS Clean Rooms. AWS-based providers use Data 360 once to create and publish the clean room package, then complete every other action in AWS Clean Rooms. Consumers manage their side of the collaboration entirely in Data 360.").
