# Clean Room Providers

Providers are publishers or companies that own a platform and can offer access to data or advertising space to other companies. Data 360 Clean Rooms enable providers to collaborate using Salesforce Data 360 clean rooms or AWS Clean Rooms.

- If you’re a provider who uses Data 360 clean rooms, use Salesforce-provided collaboration templates or custom collaboration templates to offer use cases to consumers.
- If you’re a provider who uses AWS Clean Rooms, use a Developer Edition packaging org to create custom collaboration templates supporting the use cases you want to offer. See [AWS Clean Rooms Providers](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_crc_providers.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5).

Providers can offer use cases in multiple ways.

- To offer clean room use cases that are publicly discoverable by potential collaborators, [create and publish your clean room packages on AppExchange](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_crc_offer_usecase_on_appexchange.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "If you want your use case template to be publicly discoverable by potential collaborators, create a clean room package in Data 360 and then publish it on AppExchange. Only an AppExchange partner can publish a package to AppExchange. ") from a Developer Edition org. Providers using AWS Clean Rooms must use this method.
- To distribute your collaboration template to a specific collaborator as a proof of concept, create your clean room package as an unmanaged package instead. With this method, you can't offer upgraded or revised versions of the package.
- To collaborate with a specific consumer without a package, have the consumer [add your Enterprise Edition home org to their Data Cloud Org Allowlist](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_crc_allowlist_clean_room_provider.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "To collaborate directly with a trusted provider, add them to your Data 360 org allowlist. When you add a collaborator to your allowlist, you don't need a clean room package to create a clean room collaboration with them.") and use the Salesforce-provided collaboration template.

## AWS Clean Rooms Providers

If you use AWS Clean Rooms to collaborate with a consumer using Data 360, your only action in Data 360 is to create and publish your clean room package. See [Collaborating with an AWS Clean Rooms Provider](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_crc_collaborate_with_aws_provider.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "As a consumer using Data 360 clean rooms, you can initiate collaborations with a provider who uses AWS Clean Rooms. AWS-based providers use Data 360 once to create and publish the clean room package, then complete every other action in AWS Clean Rooms. Consumers manage their side of the collaboration entirely in Data 360.") for the full flow.
