# Cancel a Query Run

Cancel a query run that's in progress when you no longer need the result or you started the run by mistake.

Cancel a run whether you started it manually or it started from a schedule.

1. In Data 360, go to the **Clean Rooms** tab.
2. Under **Collaborations**, open the collaboration that contains the running query.
3. Find the run that you want to stop, and click **Cancel Query Run**.
4. To confirm, click **Proceed**.
    
    Data 360 attempts to stop the run. Because processing happens quickly, a run that's near completion can still finish successfully.
