# Multiple Marketing Cloud Engagement Business Units in Segments

Filter segments by business unit (BU) to determine the true size of segments for campaign planning. If segments aren’t filtered by business unit, the difference between a Data 360 segment population and Marketing Cloud Engagement data extension count can be significant.

- In Data 360 Setup, make sure that Allow Profile Business Unit Mapping Data is enabled.

1. For new and existing segments, add another rule.
2. Select the Affiliation entity from the attribute library under Related Attributes.
3. Drag the Affiliated To attribute to the segmentation canvas.
4. Use an Is Equal To operator and enter a Business Unit Value (MID) for the segment.
