Overview

This release supersedes all of the previous releases. The exact release version is 8.6.1 r24621. The prior production release is Release notes for Modern POS Version 8.5.1.

Cart

  • Remove support for Mobile config flag "ShowInStoreItemsSeparate". App will now use the Store Config Setting "Treat Each Item As Separate Line Item", same as backend.
  • Disable cart operations after phase 1 is complete.
  • Ship to home is selected after resume the instore product when cart has online product. Expected Ship To Store.
  • The omni dropdown CTA and coupon field Textfield/ APPLY CTA height should be the same.
  • Truncated Notes icon when note is associated with the exchanged product in cart
  • If Adding a serialized product from wishlist - Product added sas "Online" instead of "Instore" product
  • Unable to add a product from wishlist to cart.
  • Custom made product color is showing out of screen in line item

Offline

  • Tiered taxes reporting issues in EJ.
  • When Transaction level discount is applied and QTY is decreased, Line item total and cart summary getting recalculated and displays 0 value
  • For offline placed order if "ShowTaxBreakouts" flag in mobile config is set to False, in CMS, EJ -> View Receipt, taxTotal shows $0.00

Crashes

  • Fix Download All CTA click crash from Offline Logs screen. Intermittent crash
  • Watchdog Crash fix for downloading spinner gif in main thread
  • Removed Geofence code causing intermittent crashes
  • Fix concurrent access to Layout display cells

Device Manager

  • Unable to proceed with Elavon payments when switching to offline and back online immediately. Intermittent issue.
  • When refresh the device manger page manually and then try to add terminal, the added terminal not listed in device manager
  • When Max Print Attempts set to high number like '25' & printer cover is open, try to place cash order first attempt getting error message as expected, for second attempt the prompt displays long time. Star printer status validation check "hung" after repeatedly checking when in an invalid state

Offline Promotions

  • Promo invalid error message when adding "does not contain" product to cart with the respective promotion

Cash Management

  • if I try to adjust the amount in safe management. App shows something went wrong message.
  • Backspace not working for Reconcile amount. And if I enter the large amount for reconcile, app shows "Sorry an error."

Order History

  • Pick Up Info (Date and Time)is not shown in Order Detail Screen.
  • when place order with GC + CC(TIP) - In order detail page displays Tip & total charged fields for GC instead of CC
  • In Return selected page, Order Number section overlap with header section

Inventory

  • If received the ASN/RTV/STS, In header section qty shows as "0"

Open Issues

Order History

  • If add notes in Order details page - Newly added note is missing in Receipt (#40866)

Store Operations

  • If I close the store. Close store button retains old date. (#40731)

Cart

  • Sale price overlaps with subtotal price on cart item cell when the price value is too long. (#39614)
  • Serial number product - App is not asking serial number while adding product as Pickup In store (#40359)

Return

  • App doesn't allow to update the return quantity of items if order status is "Ready". (#39707)

Offline

  • No error is shown when invalid tax exempt is applied. (#38566)

Crashes

  • App crashes sometimes when auto login happens during launch (#38896)

Device Manager

  • Terminal model/serial number doesn't shown up device manager once an order is placed with the terminal (#39768)

Payments

  • App allow to scan the items when Fiserv terminal update is in progress. (#39706)

Permissions

  • User getting "Location Access: Authorized" prompt sometimes when switching merchants or storeId on register (#40293)
