Release notes for Modern POS Version 8.3.1, including feature enhancements, bug fixes, and open issues.

## Overview

This release supersedes all of the previous releases. The exact release version is 8.3.1 r24932. ## Feature Enhancements

- Elavon Virtual Receipt support ([Elavon: Line Item Display (Virtual Receipts)](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_cms_hardware_elavon_virtual_receipts.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Show Point of Sale customers their cart summary on the Elavon payment terminal during checkout. ## Bug Fixes

- iPhone UI issue in return screen where deposit label is overlapping with subtotal label
- Void and retry button getting duplicated in case retry button is clicked on failed to set customer to cart pop up
- After applying partial amount with gift card, gift card payment cell was appearing beneath product cell
- When revisit the quiz page the saved content is not found in any of the pages also blank page getting displayed when try to edit in summary page
- Able to add the Required serial no product to cart without entering serial no
- In BOPIS/BOFIS app is asking to enter serial no for optional product
- In-Store Pay by Link - links were not expired when payment status check times out
- Cart product cell UI issue where fulfillment dropdown is out of frame
- Once a customer is created then the customer should be linked to the cart
- Delete an alteration not showing a loading indicator
- SKUs do not open alteration web view - format space & add EPC code

- Scanning the coupon code is not working, if first enter coupon code manually

- Error message is getting displayed when login into offline mode, also create till is not getting displayed
- If partially pay with cash and then initiate card payment kill and relaunch the app in terminal, in offline able to get cash and card detail but for online displays only single record for card
- Shipping address & billing address retains for new special item order
- In offline, set register setup with Gift card as tender, when trying to place the order in offline app shows gift card popup
- In offline, adding products via product search are not shown as individual line items & quantity is not shown either
- Crash fixes

## Open Issues

- Existing associate id is showing immediately when edit the note with different associate
- In iPad OS 14 Voice search command is not working properly
- Cart - Navigate to Cart Page via Message and observe top section contents overlaps with time/date/battery indicators
- Cart - When transaction discount is applied to the cart, switching offline and online tax calculation differs by 0.0.1 each time
- Cart - When treatEachItemInCartAsSeparateLineItem is disabled and ShowInStoreItemsSeparate is enabled, app is not working properly on offline mode
- Cart - In case of network loss during inStore pay by link transaction, failure reason is shown as user canceled instead of no network in failed order report in CMS
- Inventory - In manual receipts, entering quantity value (greater than 10 digits) and upon hitting **Pause Receiving**/**Complete Receiving** Options results an error message
- Till - In offline mode if create and reconcile the till, Now logout and login, Not getting create till popup
- Quiz - After placing an order with any tender, quiz option some times is hidden
- Offline - Have more than one qualifying or discounted product rule in BOGO or BXGY promotion will not work properly on the cart
- Offline - When applied promotion, difference of $0.01 can be seen on line item price
- Offline - While exchanging the product with applied promotion, tax total and grand total are incorrect
- Offline - In BOGO, when there are multiple set of products eligible for promotion, total discount is incorrect
- Purchase order - In create purchase order flow, replenishment dropdown is not closed even added product in the list
- Cart - In iPod summary cell, some extra space is available under VAT(\*BWT) text
- Cart - If entered invalid address and save - Select Ship to store and again select Ship to home, app is selecting Ship to store instead of Ship to home and showing invalid address under ship to store address section
- BOFIS - Once all the items are moved to shipped state with shipping label and click on **Done** button, error message is shown
- Offline - Adding optional serial product to cart without serial number each item is added as separate instead of increasing the quantity
