Overview

This release supersedes all of the previous releases. The exact release version is10.6.1 r26648. The prior production release is Release Notes for Modern POS Version 10.4.1.

Please note that this will also release the features that were delivered in TestFlight 10.5.1.

Bug fixes and enhancements included in this build are only targeted for Omnichannel (v2) Overview. Omni V1 was not tested for this build and is not considered supported on this and future versions of the POS app.
In the case where the bottle deposit value for a product is 0 and the product is added to the cart, the bottle deposit field will be hidden in offline mode. This change will take effect in app versions 9.6.1 or greater. However, in online mode, the bottle deposit will still be displayed as 0.

Apple iOS 18: Certified iOS 18 (versions 10.6.1 and above). The supported iOS versions are now iOS 16, iOS 17, and iOS 18.

Cart

If the "Use this info for all pickup items" toggle is selected in the pickup popup for one item, the pickup info is not updated for all line items.
When refunds are performed via the "MagStripe" entry method for gift cards, the terminal returns an error: "Reason 214 Declined online."

UI/UX

The promotion label in the order details screen overlaps at the bottom when no product configuration is set.
In offline mode, the additional bottle deposit field value appears as 0 on the line item in the Cart screen when a line item or transaction discount is applied.
[iPad Mini] The amount and customer name field values overlap on the Suspended Cart screen.
After connecting the card reader, the terminal ID appears instead of the reader name in the device list (1:N payment topology).
[iPhone] The product return selection option overlaps with the product image on the return selection screen.

Miscellaneous

Fixed a layout crash on some screens when rendering text overlays and images.
When tenders are reset and payments are reversed, "Void" was incorrectly sent as the payment type in payment transaction logs.
In the BOFIS flow, the incorrect default reason was selected for the unopened item fulfillment reason popup when it was dismissed previously without confirmation.
Moved image loading to a background queue.
Improved logging when a Star printer connection fails.
Prevented online order submission from being blocked when an offline order upload operation is ongoing.
Fixed localization issues in the till popup for the AT region.
