Overview

This release supersedes all of the previous releases. The exact release version is 10.2.1 r26341. The prior production release is Release Notes for Modern POS Version 10.1.1.

Known Issues

Bug fixes and enhancements included in this build are only targeted for Omnichannel (v2) Overview. Omni V1 was not tested for this build and is not considered supported on this and future versions of the POS app.
In the case where the bottle deposit value for a product is 0 and the product is added to the cart, the bottle deposit field will be hidden in offline mode. This change will take effect in app versions 9.6.1 or greater. However, in online mode, the bottle deposit will still be displayed as 0.

Bug Fixes

`Order Management`
Fixed missing `transactionStartDate` and `subTotal` properties in Void cart WebHook details.

`UI/UX`
Resolved an error causing the clienteling layout screen to render incorrectly when the app is moved between the background and foreground.
Prevented the availability countdown popup from appearing after the app is reset.
Corrected issue where orders with different VAT TAX rates displayed the same amount on the receipt.
Fixed issue where the app prompts for a saved cart name for guest customers when the store setting `retainQuoteIdOnResumedCart` is enabled and saving a resumed quote.
Ensured calendar filter date range matches the selected filter option in the GMV Report.
Addressed the misplacement of the quantity picker and the inability to select the Add toggle for products with large descriptions.

`Miscellaneous`
Fixed issue when switching from a printer in the 1:N selection popup while the printer is turned off.
Improved error message shown when an empty ID is scanned in the Advanced Shipping Notice flow.
Resolved the issue where the app gets stuck on the Printing Receipt popup after printing the receipt and moving to the background.
Fixed error message Error 1025: The data capture context has been disposed and cannot be used anymore when scanning random product IDs.
Ensured the app retains the previously selected payment terminal.
Corrected the missing Offline No Sale transaction entry in Electronic Journal.
Fixed replacing product ps tags in punchout url

Open Issues

`Cart`
Request Timed Out message is displayed instead of Transaction Failed message while refunding a credit card order (#51006).
Unable to overwrite transaction-level discount with the same reason (#50931).
In-store return line item disappears after changing the fulfillment type from Ship to Home to In-store (#49059).

`UI/UX`
Discount reason and note labels overlap when updating an already placed order (#50930).
Product List Page screen lags while scrolling (#50759).
App displays Enter the amount less than the remaining balance instead of the deposit amount when applying a payment larger than the deposit amount (#50520).
Zooming the product image in PDP does not happen smoothly (#51010).
