# Inventory Transfer Out

Inventory Transfer Out enables stores to initiate transfers directly from the Retail Cloud POS. Corporate can also create transfer orders through CMS or file uploads, adjusting inventory based on demand and supply. By facilitating efficient inventory management, stores can promptly address surges in demand.

## Store Initiated

Stores can also initiate store-to-store transfers right from the POS itself. This is useful if stores see a sudden surge in demand and stores can optimize inventory levels across each other to ensure customers are served properly by having enough items on hand.

## Corporate Initiated

Corporate can create transfer orders to initiate store-to-store transfers. Corporate can send this right from CMS or can send a transfer order file to Point of Sale via file upload. This will allow corporate to adjust inventory between stores based on demand and supply.
