Inventory Buckets

Point of Sale supports the following inventory buckets - Sellable Quantity, Allocated Quantity, Safety Stock, Quantity On Hand, Quantity In Transit, Quantity On Order, Not for sale, Returned items, and Floor/Demo items.

1. In CMS, go to Inventory Management > Inventory Overview And Bucket Adjustment.
2. Select a store from the drop-down menu and click SEARCH.
3. Click on the ellipsis (three vertical dots) to the right.
4. Click Edit Inventory and make the adjustments.
5. Click SAVE.

Note We permit negative inventory, which means the available product quantity can drop below zero, like '-2.' This happens because we allow items to be added via bar-code scanning without checking current inventory. Regardless of a product's online availability, you can add it to your cart if it's physically on hand. This approach accommodates potential inventory inaccuracies.
