Important This article applies to the legacy platform. If you see **Integrations** | **Email Integration** in your CMS, you're on Hyperforce. Follow [Set Up Your System for Email Communications](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_adv_config_3p_int_email.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "To send emails using Point of Sale, you must verify that you’re authorized to use an email address, domain, or both for each region where your stores operate. Point of Sale uses Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) to verify your email address and domain identities. You can manage identities in the CMS, view verification statuses, and take action as needed. Verify a domain if you send email from multiple email addresses or verify just one email address to send communications.") instead.

To send emails from the POS app, Salesforce needs to set up a sender's email profile.

Merchants have two options:

- Salesforce Backend can add stores@merchant.com or \[yourchoice\]@merchant.com as the sender ID on Salesforce email dispatch service.
- Point of Sale can create a subdomain on Salesforce and send the merchant DKIM and DNS record sets that merchants require to put in their DNS.

The first option is preferred as it's faster to implement.

## Setting Up a Ghost Email

Contact your Salesforce Customer Success Manager with your preferred setup option.

- For option 1, provide the email address to use as sender ID.
- For option 2, Point of Sale will provide you with the DKIM and DNS record to insert into your DNS.

## IP Address Allow Listing

Salesforce emails are sent from these two IP address

- 54.240.87.185
- 54.240.87.186
