Point of Sale offers flexible methods for processing BORIS returns, including referenced and unreferenced refunds, and tender remapping. These options are tailored to merchants using SPIs, Salesforce Order Management, or NetSuite connectors, ensuring alignment with specific business needs.
For example, for merchants using an SPI with an external order master for BORIS returns, Point of Sale can facilitate refunds with a provided token, even though direct refund processing through an external OMS is not supported, Additionally, merchants can choose to process an unreferenced refund at the point of sale terminal or implement tender remapping to issue the refund as a gift card.
- Process BORIS Returns with SPI as External Order Master
For merchants using an SPI where the Order Master is external, we offer three methods for handling BORIS returns. Configuring returns with an external system via OMS isn’t supported. - Process BORIS Returns with BORIS SPI

For merchants using a NetSuite connector, BORIS refunds aren’t supported directly. However, merchants can process BORIS refunds using Point of Sale SPIs.
