# Point of Sale

Point of Sale is a mobile-first POS and omnichannel platform for managing in-store operations and connecting with online commerce systems. Point of Sale supports point-of-sale transactions, clienteling, endless aisle, and store-based fulfillment. Configure layouts, receipts, and store settings with a built-in, no-code CMS. Point of Sale integrates with payment providers, business planning and order management systems, and tax platforms. The platform is designed to scale with evolving business needs and store formats.

Customer support for PredictSpring on Zendesk retired in February ‘26. Salesforce Help is the new home for the Point of Sale (formerly PredictSpring) support experience. For developer documentation, including API, SPI, and webhook specifications previously published on SwaggerHub, see the [Point of Sale Developer Guide](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/commerce/retail-cloud/overview).

Note In 2024, Salesforce acquired PredictSpring, a provider of modern retail point-of-sale (POS) software built natively in the cloud. PredictSpring was renamed Retail Cloud and is now called Point of Sale. You may still see references to PredictSpring or Retail Cloud in the Point of Sale app and in our documentation.
