How do you manually trigger offline extract after loading a Store Inventory/Pricing feed?
If there is an urgent need to generate store-level extract after loading a Store Inventory/Pricing feed, you can do either of the following:
- Change the time of the offline extract in CMS.
- Load a Delta or Full Product file with the products in the Store Inventory/Pricing feed.
When does the app retrieve offline Full and Delta files?
When the store associate logins onto the device, the POS app will download the Full file and then list of Deltas after.
Each store will get its variant of offline file based on the storeId that is passed from the app to the Point of Sale backend (this comes as one of the headers in API request).
The app will re-download the files once the refresh time has expired.
What if the store associate has logged out? Does the counter continue to run?
Note Yes, note that the counter is reset after the store associate logs in again.
If a store associate has logged out, is the API call made with the storeId attribution?
The app stores the current storeId and registerId locally until the values are refreshed again.
