# Offline Feed File Extracts

Offline feed files help the Point of Sale (POS) app function properly, where at least one online session is needed to download the required files.

Offline feed files help confirm the proper functioning of the POS app. To turn on offline capabilities, the POS app requires at least one online session to download the necessary files. Point of Sale generates these file extracts for the app upon the completion of a Full and Delta Product feed load. This process has now evolved to accommodate the inclusion of store prices in ‌offline functionality.

## Prerequisites

- Modern POS App Build: 9.0.1 or greater
- Platform Support: iPad
- Offline Support: Yes
