# Access Sales Attribution Reports in Point of Sale

Measure sales associate performance, predict commissions, and get a summary of sales and returns attributed to each associate in Point of Sale CMS.

Point of Sale's [Associate Sales Attribution](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_pos_orders_track_sales_attribution.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Set sales attribution at either the order level or the item level so associates can get credit for the sales they make and you can track their performance.") report allows merchants to predict commissions and measure performance. This comprehensive report is accessible on both the POS app and CMS. It presents a concise summary of sales and returns attributed to each sales associate, allowing merchants to view insights into their performance. The attributed sales ‌vary from the sales where the associate completed the transaction.

2. Using the deep link picker, go to **Store Associate > Associate Sales Attribution Report**.

## View Sales Attribution in the POS App

See how to view sales attribution reports in the point of sale (POS) app.

### Accessing Report

To access the report on the POS app, tap the deep link. The user is directed to a screen showing a list of all associates of the store with their data.

### Customizing Report by Date

The report allows date range filtering through the calendar at the bottom. Users can customize the filter by day, week, month, year, or a specific range. There's a maximum limit of 31 days for a specific range.

### View More Details

Tapping on an associate will display a detailed breakdown of their stats. If the selected associate has data for multiple stores, the report categorizes their data by store.

However, if there's data for only one store, the total summary section won't be displayed. Instead, it only shows the associate's tallies for that specific store.

## Sales Attribution Known Issues and Restrictions

Understand performance data discrepancies that can show in Point of Sale CMS.

The data (Net Sales, Order Count, Refund, and so on) displayed for an associate on the screen listing all associates sometimes differs from the data shown on the individual associate's screen. This difference happens because the screen listing all associates shows the Net Sales for the store the user is currently signed in to. The detailed screen for a specific associate shows the Net Sales based on their total performance across all stores they have worked in.
