## View Detail Sales Reports in the POS App

View sales data, filter reports by order type, and change the data range for data to see in the Point of Sale (POS) app.

### Configure and Setup Point of Sale CMS for Reports

1. Edit a layout or [hamburger menu](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_cms_layouts_templates_hamburger_menu.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Configure a hamburger menu in the POS app to access a wide range of features without cluttering the screen. This setup streamlines navigation, making it easier for users to find and use essential functions quickly."). This deep link can't be configured as one of the tabs on the Home Page on CMS.
2. Using the deep link picker on the right menu, go to **Reporting > Detailed Sales Report**.
3. Set and save your changes.

### POS App Flow for Viewing Reports

The store associate can view the Detailed Sales Report data by selecting the deep link configured in CMS. The report will show details related to sales, refunds, registers, and safes.

For a comprehensive list of all sales-related terminology, see [Sales Reporting Glossary of Terms](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_cms_reports_sales_reporting_glossary.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "To understand sales data, use this glossary of terms commonly seen in sales and app reports in Point of Sale.").

By default, the app shows the data for the current day. However, the store associate can change the date range using the filter at the bottom of the screen.

For app builds 10.5.1 or greater, the report can be filtered by order type:

- **In Store**: filters sales metrics for in-store purchases and refunds for in-store returns
- **Endless Aisle**: filters sales metrics for endless aisle purchases and refunds for returns from endless aisle orders.
- **Mixed Cart**: filters sales metrics for mixed cart purchases and refunds for mixed cart returns
- **Web (BORIS)**: Filters refunds for items returned in-store that were originally purchased online

The data can be printed on the receipt by tapping Print Report at the bottom of the screen. The app will print the receipt on the printer connected to the POS app.

### Known Issues and Restrictions

- A4 printing of sales report is not supported on the POS app.
- Sales Report receipt is not supported for Fiscal printers.
