Remove Customer Data From Point of Sale

To comply with privacy regulations, you can mask a customer's Personally Identifiable Informaton (PII) in order history, cart quotes, and all PII associated with collecting interactions. In order history, PII is deleted from orders and returns and pay information. In cart quotes, PII is deleted from sales, returns, and suspended carts.

1. In CMS, go to Advanced > Delete Customers Data.
2. Select either Email Address or Customer ID, and enter the customer’s information.
3. Click Request Deletion.
4. To check the status of your deletion request, use the Customer Data Deletion Tracker. If the request is successful, order records, cart records, and clienteling records are kept for business continuity and reporting. These record types don't include any personal information (PII).
