Additional Shipping Methods Information
Read more information about external integrations and troubleshooting shipping methods in Point of Sale CMS.
If there’s an external integration, Point of Sale goes to, for example Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware), to retrieve the shipping methods via an API call. If a sales associate is on the app, the API call happens during runtime. In this instance, there’s no configuration needed in the CMS. However, for all other instances, this is to be manually configured in the CMS as noted in Shipping Methods Management
Troubleshooting
Sometimes in the POS app, you can receive an error message that says “One or more items in the cart cannot be shipped to the selected shipping address.”
