# Managing Inventory: Inventory Adjustment Batch

Adjust inventory counts for your store items in Point of Sale CMS and gain better insights into the adjustments via reports.

Point of Sale's Inventory Adjustment Batch feature is part of Inventory Management within the Point of Sale (POS) app. It allows merchants to make specific adjustments to inventory levels for individual items. Stores can also use Inventory adjustments to adjust the On Hand and Available inventory buckets. A reason code is required for each adjustment, which can aid in maintaining accurate records and optimizing inventory levels.
