# Creating Inventory Adjustments in the POS App

Use inventory adjustments in the Point of Sale (POS) app to track and manage your products.

Tap the Inventory Adjustment deep link to show a list of batches that are in progress, paused, closed, and so on You can filter this list by date or status.

## Available Statuses:

- **In Progress**—Batch is actively scanning products
- **Paused** - Batch has been paused
- **Closed** - Scanning and inventory adjustments are complete but not yet posted
- **Canceled** - Batch has been canceled
- **Posted** - Batch is complete and has been posted

To create a new batch, tap **Create New Batch** at the bottom of the screen. As soon as a batch is created, its status updates to “In Progress”.
