# Set up Point of Sale for Exporting Inventory

Create inventory event export jobs in Point of Sale so that you can listen to inventory events.

## Create a New Export

1. Go to **Feeds > Export Jobs**.
2. Create an export and select **Inventory Event Export** for real-time exports. Or, select **Bulk Inventory Event Export** to schedule exports at a set frequency and time.
3. Provide a name for the export.
4. For **Events**, select inventory events to export. You can subscribe to a maximum of 100 inventory events. Exceeding this limit may result in subscription failures or dropped events.
5. Turn on **Use Mapping** to match the export file format with your configured Export Inventory Event field mappings.
6. Under **Destination**, enter the FTP or SFTP details where you want the inventory events exported as CSV files, including the protocol, URL, username, password, and folder path. You can also configure file name options (prefix and suffix) and set retry attempts if file delivery fails.
