# Close and Post Batch

Finalize adjustments and update all selected items in the Point of Sale (POS) app.

After all selected items are adjusted, the batch can be closed by tapping **Close Batch**. After the batch is confirmed for closing, you'll be prompted to either post the batch now (**Post**) or at a later time (**Post Later**).

Adjustment batches can be posted via the CMS as well.
