# Manually Create Store Associates

Create store associate user profiles in Point of Sale CMS so that you can manage them.

To edit or create a store associate:

1. In CMS, go to **Store Management > Associates > Associates**.
2. To edit a store associate, select the pencil icon to the right.
3. To create a new store associate user, select **ADD** in the upper right corner.
4. Configure the fields by referring to [Creating Store Associates in CMS](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_cms_create_store_associates.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Add users to Point of Sale CMS who can access store functions and operate a point of sale (POS) system.").
5. Save your changes.
