# Use Polls

The quiz feature in Point of Sale can be used to administer a poll where users submit an answer and instantly see the poll results.

## Create a Poll

1. Go to **Layouts Pages** | **Personalization** | **Quiz Elements** | **Customer Attributes.**
2. Create the customer attribute that will be associated with the poll question.
3. Go to **Layouts Pages** | **Personalization** | **Quiz Elements** | **Quiz Questions**.
4. Create a question by clicking on the + icon.
5. ## Creat a Poll Layout

A layout can have only one poll question. The configuration of the layout is the same as multiple choice quiz questions. The [Edit Quizzes](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_cms_layouts_quizzes_edit.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Point of Sale quizzes consist of layouts, questions, and customer attributes. Understanding these components helps you to effectively create quizzes. Knowing these components also enables you to avoid errors while editing quizzes. ## Style the Overlay Text

After the user selects an answer, the poll results are displayed on top of each answer cell. The style of the text is configurable in the Quiz Styles layout. For details on how to create a Quiz Styles layout and associate it with an app config refer to the [Use Quiz Styles](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_cms_layouts_quizzes_styles.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Customize the look and feel of inline Point of Sale quiz deep links.") article.

1. Go to **Layouts Pages** | **Personalization** | **Quiz Elements** | **Quiz Styles**.

3. Customize the font and click **SET**.
4. Click **SAVE**
