# Create Branch Deep Links

Generate deep links for Point of Sale using the Branch.io dashboard to enhance user navigation and improve customer engagement. Active link creation streamlines the user experience, driving higher conversion rates and better tracking of marketing campaigns.

1. To create a deep link, simply select **\+ Add Link** on the Branch.io dashboard Marketing page.![The branch.io dashboard marketing page, indicating the add link button.](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-commerce-retail-264-0-0-production-enus/17d647fb-8988-49fb-9add-c4f4cc79c9e4/retail/images/rt_cms_layouts_deep_links_branch_marketing_page.png)
2. Fill out the Create Marketing link form per the [Branch.io instructions](https://dev.branch.io/recipes/your_first_marketing_link/#creating-your-branch-link).

The deep link settings themselves that send the customer to a specific location in the app rather than just opening up the app can be configured by adding the advanced Deep Link Data. In this section click on **\+ Add more data** and then set the Key to the deep link and the Value to the specific value desired. ![The deep link data (advanced) window showing deep link key and value.](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-commerce-retail-264-0-0-production-enus/17d647fb-8988-49fb-9add-c4f4cc79c9e4/retail/images/rt_cms_layouts_deep_links_branch_values.png)
