Segment App Configs using the Traditional Method for App Config Segmentation

Assign app configurations to associates and roles through the Point of Sale CMS interface, enabling customized app experiences.

Assign an App Config to an Associate

  1. In CMS, go to Store Management | Associates | Associates.
  2. Edit an associate by clicking on the pencil icon to the right.
  3. Under App Configuration, select the app config for the role.
  4. Click SAVE.

Assign an App Config to a Role

  1. In CMS, go to Store Management | Associates | Associate Roles.
  2. Edit an associate by clicking on the pencil icon to the right.
  3. Under App Configuration, select the app config for the role.
  4. Click SAVE.

Assign a Role to an Associate

  1. In CMS, go to Store Management | Associates.
  2. Edit an associate by clicking on the pencil icon to the right.
  3. Under Associate Role, select a role for the associate.
  4. Click SAVE.

Important
Important Role-specific app config mapping will not work in offline mode. In offline mode, the app config will default to the last app config that was set when the app was in online mode.
