# Known Issues & Restrictions

Get details of known issues and restrictions with Point of Sale App Config Segmentation.

- Every merchant and region must have a default app config.
- Direct retrieval by tokens will override the flag, Is Default.
- An app config must always be set as a default. If the Is Default toggle is enabled and then turned off, a confirmation modal will prompt you to designate another app config as the default. There must always be one merchant default.
- Duplication of app configs is not supported. When defining the segment for an app config, if the segmentation criteria match those of another app config for the same merchant region/environment, you will receive an error message indicating that another app config is already targeted to that segment.
