# POS App Flow

After a reset, users can retrieve a specific Point of Sale App Config using a token or opt for the default configuration. Token retrieval takes precedence only if the register and associate are not targeted by any app config segmentation rules, ensuring a tailored user experience. Once logged in, the app config name is visible on the cart screen, providing transparency and control.

Note Token-based retrieval will not supersede any app config segmentation rules that target this register or associate–that is, only if the register and associate are not in any app config’s segment will the token retrieval take precedence after login.

Once logged in, the app config name is viewable from the cart screen.
