# Request Tap To Pay Entitlement

Configure Tap to Pay on iPhone for your custom apps. Request an entitlement from Apple to use iPhones as payment terminals with the Point of Sale Platform.

For customers who use IPAs from their individual Enterprise developer accounts, they will need to do these two steps:

- Request Entitlement for the App Store entry for their IPA
- Get the IPA certified by Apple (This will be done by Point of Sale)

## Request Entitlement

Get an Entitlement from Apple for Tap To Pay on iPhone

Before you request, make sure you have an Organization-level Apple Developer account and you have the Account Holder role for that account.

[Fill out the form](https://idmsa.apple.com/IDMSWebAuth/signin.html?path=%2Fcontact%2Frequest%2Ftap-to-pay-on-iphone%2F&appIdKey=891bd3417a7776362562d2197f89480a8547b108fd934911bcbea0110d07f757&rv=0) to get the entitlement.

Note Note: For the question about PSP, the answer currently is Adyen. This changes after we validate Tap To Pay support by other payment terminals.

You’ll receive an email from Apple with the subject Re: Request Access to the ProximityReader APIs shortly after that. This email will contain a Follow-up ID. Forward this to your SalesForce Customer Support contact.

After you receive the entitlement to support Tap to Pay on iPhone, follow Apple's instructions to configure your Xcode project to use it. Just follow the [Add Tap to Pay on iPhone capability to your App ID and Import the new provisioning profile](https://developer.apple.com/documentation/passkit_and_wallet/adding_tap_to_pay_on_iphone_to_your_app) sections. The Add an entitlements file step is taken care of by the POS app.

After the new profiles are available, the POS app will be bundled with the new Tap to Pay functionality.
