# Allow Payment Gateway and Gift Card Providers

Integrate gift card providers with your payment gateways to turn on gift card functionality. The gift card provider supplies credentials that your gateway provider configures as a payment method.

The gift card provider supplies you with a set of credentials, which typically include an endpoint, username, and password. Share these credentials with your gateway provider, who then configures the gift card provider as a payment method within your account.

## Adyen Configuration

For setting up your Adyen terminal, configure the device.storedValueEnabledGiftcards setting. This will enable gift cards on the terminal. This can cause payment reporting errors on Adyen if not configured.

Important It's important that all configurations are done correctly or unexpected errors can arise. Refer to the Troubleshooting section for debugging guides on known error codes.

## Verifone Configuration

We recommend merchants contact their Verifone support team to request disabling Store and Forward (SAF) on terminals. Otherwise, imbalances can occur during reconciliation with gift card transactions if eligible funds are less than the order total.

## Supported Operations Across Gift Card Providers

Not all POS-supported gift card operations are supported by the gift card provider. Refer to the table to note the parity of supported operations across providers.
