# Adyen Payment Terminal Onboarding and Pairing to POS

Set up Adyen terminals to connect to the Modern POS and process payments. Connect your Adyen terminal to Wi-Fi, board the device, and then pair it with the POS app.

## The POS platform supports Adyen device models P400, V400, SFO1, and more.

For a full list of supported Adyen terminals, refer to this [article](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_hw_supported.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Point of Sale on iOS provides certified support for terminals, iPad stands, barcode scanners, printers, and cash drawers."). The steps covered in this article include pictures of the P400 Plus terminal. However, note that the interface is identical in the P400, V400, and M400 terminals.

## Prerequisites

- If you've yet to set up an Adyen and Point of Sale account, make sure your StoreIDs are the same for both accounts.
- If your Point of Sale account is live but you haven’t set up Adyen, make sure your Adyen StoreID is the same as your Point of Sale StoreID.
- If your Adyen account is live but you haven’t set up Point of Sale, make sure your Retail Cloud StoreID is the same as Adyen's StoreID.
- To test contactless payments, use a card version of 2.4 or newer.
