Only users with Merchant Admin, Merchant Cashier, or Merchant Supervisor roles can access this section. ## Events Events are the topics a notification is 'listening' to. The notifications will be triggered as soon as there's an event happening for one of the selected topics. Salesforce requires these events to be configured. | Event | Description | | --- | --- | | TxnAuthorisationApproved (Authorization approved) | An approved authorization or preauthorization | | TxnAuthorisationDeclined (Authorization declined) | A declined authorization or preauthorization | | TxnSaleApproved (Sales approved) | A single approved message sale (auth+capture) | | TxnSaleDeclined (Sales declined) | A single declined message sale (auth+capture) | To verify Salesforce receives Verifone callbacks for authorizations and sales, a callback URL is required. These URLs vary based on the merchant, region, and environment combination. 1. In CMS, go to **Integrations > Payment Gateways**. 2. Edit the **VERIFONEPSDK** payment gateway created for pay by link. 3. Under **Callback URL**, select **Generate**. Copy the URL and configure it in the **Verifone Notifications** settings. ## Create Notifications in Verifone Central To use the information in the Notifications section in Verifone Central, follow these steps: 1. Log in to your Verifone Central account. 2. Go to **Administration > Notifications**. The **Notifications** page displays. 3. Select **Create new notification**. On the **Notifications** page, sort the notifications you've made by name, email, or URL. On the **Create Notification** page, provide the following information: 1. **Notification name**: Used to identify the notification configuration in the listing 2. **Organization(s)**: 3. By selecting an organization, you apply a scope to the configuration 4. By selecting a root-level organization, the notifications will send messages for all child organizations 5. By selecting the lowest-level organization, you will receive messages for the selected organization only. You can select to send the same notification to multiple organizations. 6. **Events**: Notifications will be sent as soon as an event happens for one of the transaction status updates you chose. For a list of events that Point of Sale needs, see Events. 7. Delivery Method: Specifies how notifications will be delivered. Select "URL Endpoint" and Verifone will send a webhook with the transaction payload. Only one webhook will be accepted. 8. Update Notifications in Verifone Central Any notification can be edited. The failed notifications can be viewed in **Administration > Notifications**. Select the notification and go to the **Notification Failures** section from Verifone Central.
