Enable gift cards, select a provider and SKU, and enter a cash-out configuration within Point of Sale CMS. ## Set the Payment Gatway 1. Go to **Integrations > Payment Gateways**. 2. Create or edit a payment gateway (Adyen or Verifone). 3. Go to **Gift Card Settings**. 4. Turn on **Enable Gift Card**, which will expose additional settings in this section. 5. Enable or disable **Expiry Date Input Field**. See [Expiry Date Input Field](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_cms_hardware_config_card_payment_settings_rt.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5) next for more details. This switch is only supported for Adyen terminals; for Verifone. It is recommended to turn off it. 6. Select a Gift Card Provider. 7. Select a Gift Card SKU. See [Create a Gift Card Product](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_cms_hardware_config_card_payment_settings_rt.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5) to learn how to create a gift card SKU/product. 8. Enter a Cash Out Configuration. If this is configured, gift cards via the payment terminal won't function as expected. Important: Make sure to add its productClass with the value of GiftCard. Refer to [Product Feed](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_adv_config_data_feeds_specs_product.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Create a robust user experience in the POS app by viewing product details such as search results and filters.") for more information. - **Create a gift card in CMS**: refer to _Create a Gift Card Product_ in [Gift Card Support in POS](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_pos_checkout_gift_card.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Gift card support in the POS app enables store associates to handle gift card payments, purchases, and returns, streamlining the checkout process. Associates can easily apply gift card tenders, add value to cards, and redeem them for merchandise. With gift card returns, associates can issue refunds to new gift cards, offering customers a convenient option."). - **Gift card cash out**: To support gift card cash out, the GiftCard product class must be configured as returnable. Refer to Checkout Toggles in [Set Up Non-Merchandise SKUs](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_pos_orders_custom_non_merchandise_sku.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "POS enables you to configure non-merchandise SKUs, such as postage stamps and gift certificates, to meet your business needs. You can also configure the checkout rules that apply to these items. Control if these items are discountable or taxable, and set other rules.") for more information. ## Expiry Date Input Field ![Note](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-commerce-retail-264-0-0-production-enus/17d647fb-8988-49fb-9add-c4f4cc79c9e4/images/icon_note.png) Note This is only supported for Adyen terminals. For Verifone, it is recommended to turn off this setting. If the gift card provider sets the bin range for you correctly, you can enter the expiry date. The setting, **Enable Expiry Date Input Field**, will toggle whether the UI will show an input field for the expiry date and send that value to the terminal. Select **\+ ADD** to add the states. In California, customers can use their gift card as cash if the gift card is less than or equal to $15. In the state of Texas, customers can redeem their gift card as cash if the gift card is less than or equal to $25. In the state of Texas, customers can redeem their gift card as cash when the gift card is less than or equal to $25. For all other states, the threshold is $10 since it was set as the default. ## Configure a Gift Card Deep Link for a Layout 1. In CMS, go to **Apps > All**. 2. Edit your selected app config. 3. Go to **Modules > Peripherals**. 4. Under **Default Card Reader**, select **VerifoneAdyen**. 5. Save your changes and go back to your app config. 6. While in editing layout mode, create a layout or use a preexisting one. 7. Select a cell. 8. Go to **CMS > Store Management > Store Setting**. 2. Go to **Payment > Advanced > Supported Tenders** or search for **Supported Tenders**. 3. Make sure **GiftCard** is one of the supported tenders. 4.
