# Fiscalization Requirements for Mexico

Mexican tax rules require sellers to provide buyers with an electronic proof of payment. Point of Sale integrates with FiscalPop to ensure compliance with Mexico's fiscal requirements.

## Overview of Country-Specific Fiscalization

Mexican tax rules say that when a buyer pays for something, the seller must give them an electronic proof of payment. However, this receipt must first gain approval from the Tax Administration (SAT). Buyers have the right to request this electronic evidence at any point during the transaction process.

## Reporting Requirements

Point of Sale has seamlessly integrated with FiscalPop to make sure compliance with fiscal requirements in Mexico. All transactions, accompanied by necessary customer information (if available), are promptly transmitted to FiscalPop in real time for reporting purposes and to generate electronic proof of payment.
