Important This article applies to the legacy platform. If you're on Hyperforce, configure CMS SSO through Salesforce Core instead. See [Point of Sale Single Sign-On](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_cms_single_signon.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Point of Sale Single Sign-On (SSO) lets users sign in with a single set of credentials and access components such as the Content Management System (CMS) and the POS app. Point of Sale supports common identity providers (IdPs), including OneLogin and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).").

Azure Active Directory (AD) is Microsoft’s Enterprise cloud-based identity and access management (IAM) solution. With Azure AD, administrators can help employees sign up for many services and use them anywhere over the cloud with one set of login details. This article gives you an overview of what is required to use Azure AD for authentication to log into Point of Sale Content Management System (CMS).

## Prerequisites

- Customer Success is added to Point of Sale CMS users as an administrator
- Provide your Customer Success team with the "Application (Client) ID" and "Directory (Tenant) ID" from your Azure portal. You get the Redirect URLs for both the Staging and Production environments. After Azure AD and Point of Sale are set up, the merchant can access the CMS through a special URL.
