# Approval Policies Page Configuration and Setup

View and create approval policies for Point of Sale CMS store associates.

The Approval Policies page can be accessed in Point of Sale CMS by going to Store Management > Associates > Approval Policies Configuration. No additional setting is required to use this feature.

To view and create approval policies:

1. Select **Create** on the top-right of the approval policies page. The following modal will appear:![Create Associate Approval Policy Modal](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-commerce-retail-264-0-0-production-enus/17d647fb-8988-49fb-9add-c4f4cc79c9e4/retail/images/rt_cms_create_associate_modal.png)
2. Select a **Policy Feature** (for example Create Till). For information about available Policy Features, see [Policy Features](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_cms_approval_policy_features.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Configure approval policies for returns, exchanges, ASN receiving discrepancies, and other point-of-sale transactions in Point of Sale CMS.")
3. Select **Approving Roles** that can approve this policy (for example Store Associate, Senior Associate). You can select one or multiple roles.
4. Select **Save**.

Approving Roles

The selection of the roles will be determined by the custom roles that have been set in the CMS by going to **Store Management > Associates > Associate Roles**. Details on configuring custom roles can be found by referring to CMS Store Associates Custom Roles.
