# Advanced Store Associates Creation in Point of Sale CMS

Enter a Salesforce Commerce (SFCC) Business Manager (BM) user ID and password to enable customer lookup and online flows in Point of Sale (POS).

This section is mandatory only if the SFCC is your repository. For all others, this section can be ignored.

The user ID is the SFCC BM user ID and the password is the BM's password. If this isn't set, then the associate can continue using the POS. However, the customer lookup or online flows (Endless Aisle, BORIS, and Customer search) won't work for the associate being created.
