# Review Feed File Specifications

Use data feeds to import and update critical product, inventory, pricing, and store data in Point of Sale. Data feeds include detailed specifications and examples, such as ASN, category, notification, and POS register feeds. Note that the POS register feed only updates existing registers and does not create new ones. You can also manage product bundles, inventory, promotions, store associates, and tax rates using data feeds. With data feeds, you can ensure your Point of Sale data is accurate and up-to-date, which leads to improved sales and customer satisfaction.

- **[ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) Feed](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_adv_config_data_feeds_specs_asn.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
The Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) feed provides specifications for inbound shipping notices in Point of Sale. Warehouse shipping information is sent to receiving clerks before merchandise arrives at the store. Receiving clerks use ASN to verify delivered merchandise by scanning barcodes, labels, pallets, cartons, or UPC tags. Once received, the merchandise is added to the on-hand item list.
- **[POS Register Feed](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_adv_config_data_feeds_specs_register.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Update multiple existing POS registers using a feed file through CMS. The register feed updates existing registers only and does not create new registers.
- **[Product Bundles Feed](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_adv_config_data_feeds_specs_product_bundles.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Product bundles in Point of Sale consist of Shop-the-Look and selling multiple items as a set.
- **[Product Feed](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_adv_config_data_feeds_specs_product.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Create a robust user experience in the POS app by viewing product details such as search results and filters.
- **[Use Product Delta Feed](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_adv_config_data_feeds_specs_product_delta.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
The POS delta feed lets you update product information, such as price and inventory, and add new products. This incremental product feed minimizes bandwidth use and lets you provide frequent updates to the POS app offline product feed. Now you can keep your product information current without importing a full product feed each time. Improve efficiency with faster, targeted updates.
- **[Promotions Feed](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_adv_config_data_feeds_specs_promotions.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
The Point of Sale product promotion details can be derived from the product feed itself. Providing a separate promotion feed allows you to send multiple promotion call outs for a product.
- **[Store Associate Feed](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_adv_config_data_feeds_specs_store_ass.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
The store associate feed drives the functionality that creates store associates for all stores. If an associate exists in Point of Sale, all of the data is updated with content from the file.
- **[Store Device Feed](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_adv_config_data_feeds_specs_store_device.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
The Point of Sale store device feed is used to load all printer MAC addresses and device names that are used in a store.
- **[Store Feed](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_adv_config_data_feeds_specs_store.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
The Point of Sale store feed drives the functionality to find a nearby store for a user based either on the user’s location or a manually entered location by the user.
- **[Store Hierarchy & Store Area Goals Feed](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_adv_config_data_feeds_specs_store_hierarchy_and_area_goals.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
The Dashboard Report, which is shown in the Point of Sale (POS) app, requires data setup pertaining to revenue targets assigned to areas, stores, or associates. These targets can be uploaded into the system using a file upload in CMS. It requires the below two files to be uploaded in the same order.
- **[Store Inventory & Pricing Feed](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_adv_config_data_feeds_specs_store_inv_price.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
The Point of Sale store inventory feed is used for the Find-In-Store feature. On the PDP, a user can opt to see if a product is available in a nearby store.
- **[Tax Rates Feed & Setup](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_adv_config_data_feeds_specs_tax_rates.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5)**
Point of Sale has the capability of calculating taxes via its tax engine. This tax engine relies on a tax feed that provides information about various taxes and rates that are applicable to products in different locations. If required, the tax engine can also compute the value-added tax (VAT) components out of a product price that already has VAT built into it for print and reporting purposes.
