## Create or Edit a Schedule

Note With [catalog unification](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=cc.b2c_pos_catalog_unification.htm&language=en_US&type=5) enabled, B2C Commerce becomes the source of truth for product information. Scheduled feeds become view-only in Point of Sale CMS, and you can't create, edit, or delete schedules.

1. Go to **Feeds** | **Scheduled Upload**.
2. To create a schedule, click the + icon. To edit a schedule, hover over a scheduled feed and click **EDIT**.
3. Configure the Schedule, Source, and Auxiliary sections.

### Schedule

Complete the information in the Schedule panel on the top portion of the screen to configure the feed schedule. Behind the scenes, the Point of Sale platform generates and uses a cron string.

![Note](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-commerce-retail-264-0-0-production-enus/17d647fb-8988-49fb-9add-c4f4cc79c9e4/images/icon_note.png)

Note For more information on cron, see the [Cron Expression Generator & Explainer](https://www.freeformatter.com/cron-expression-generator-quartz.html).

### Time

Enter the time in UTC time (required by the cron string).

Enter the UTC time in the Schedule panel:

1. Enter a value in hours.
2. Enter a value in minutes.
3. To run your schedule on particular days of the week, select Weekly, and then select (blue) or deselect (gray) days.
4. To run your schedule on particular days of the month, select Monthly, and then select (blue) or deselect (gray) dates.

Important For multiple country CMS instances (regions), you must schedule the feeds at different times. Feeds with the same schedule may fail.

Note The help text above the divider line at the bottom of the card describes when the feed runs based on your input.

### Repeat Interval in Hours

The Repeat input tells the scheduler to run that feed repeatedly during the day at the specified interval (in hours).

To run your schedule on a minute or hourly interval, select Repeat on minute or hour interval.

Note Scheduling an export job differs from scheduling a feed. Only these export types support repeated intervals set in hours or minutes: order, quiz responses, store fulfillment event, electronic journal, digital contracts, and audit log data. For other export job types, see [Configure and Manage Export Jobs](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_adv_config_data_feeds_manage_export_jobs.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Use export jobs to extract data from Point of Sale by using Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). Configure and schedule these jobs in CMS to automate data extraction, and monitor their progress in the Export Logs for timely, efficient data retrieval.").

### Active

The Active switch indicates whether the feed is actively running. If Active is on, the system verifies the feed source before saving. If the feed source verification fails (for example, because the login credentials are invalid), changes to the schedule don't save.

### Source

Next, complete the information in the Source panel in the middle portion of the screen to configure the feed source.

1. Select a Feed Source Type.
    1. FTP: Connects to a standard FTP server for retrieving files over an unencrypted FTP connection.
    2. SFTP: Connects by using Secure File Transfer Protocol (SSH-based) for encrypted file transfer.
    3. WebDAV: Connects to a WebDAV-enabled server so the feed can pull files over HTTP/HTTPS. Use this option to import products from another external system that exposes data via WebDAV.
    4. BrickFTP: Connects to a BrickFTP (now Files.com) environment for secure cloud-based file retrieval.
    5. Yext: Connects to Yext-hosted content exports made available for automated ingestion.
2. Enter your Username, Password, and Host.
3. (Optional) Enter the Folder Name, which is the folder path to your file.
4. Enter your File names. For multiple files, use comma-separated values (for example, fileone.csv,filetwo.csv). The system pulls them simultaneously.
5. (Optional) To create a backup of the file, turn on Create Backup.![A dialog shows the settings for selecting the source for a scheduled data feed.](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-commerce-retail-264-0-0-production-enus/17d647fb-8988-49fb-9add-c4f4cc79c9e4/retail/images/rt_adv_config_data_feeds_manage_schedule_souce.png)

### Auxiliary Settings

Finally, complete the information in the Auxiliary Settings panel on the bottom portion of the page.

1. Select the file type.
2. (Optional) Check Store Level Promotion.
    1. Enter the file name.
    2. Select the file type. ![A dialog showing the auxiliary settings for a scheduled data feed.](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-commerce-retail-264-0-0-production-enus/17d647fb-8988-49fb-9add-c4f4cc79c9e4/retail/images/rt_adv_config_data_feeds_manage_schedule_aux.png)

### Delete a Schedule

Before you delete a schedule, deactivate it. Only users with a [Feeds: Edit](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=commerce.rt_cms_user_management.htm&release=264.0.0&type=5 "Customize users in CMS to control access to reports, configurations, and other features within a company.") permission can perform this action.

1. Edit a schedule.
2. Under Schedule, turn off the Active toggle. ![A screen shot shows the schedule active option deactivated.](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-commerce-retail-264-0-0-production-enus/17d647fb-8988-49fb-9add-c4f4cc79c9e4/retail/images/rt_adv_config_data_feeds_manage_schedule_delete.png)
3. Save your changes.
4. Go back to **Feeds** | **Scheduled Upload**.
5. Hover over the deactivated feed, click the trash icon, and follow the prompts. ![A screen shot shows the delete option for a schedule.](https://sf-zdocs-cdn-prod.zoominsoftware.com/tdta-commerce-retail-264-0-0-production-enus/17d647fb-8988-49fb-9add-c4f4cc79c9e4/retail/images/rt_adv_config_data_feeds_manage_schedule_trash.png)
