# Use Commerce Payments for Express Checkout Payment Methods

You can now offer customers the option to use Commerce Payments only for Express Checkout payment methods, alongside their existing payments processors and integrations. This new functionality provides an easy way to use payment methods such as Apple Pay and Google Pay with minimal or no implementation effort.

Why:

Commerce Payments for Express Checkout methods lets you:

- Use SEPA to add Express Checkout payment methods, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as other applications that use the W3C payment request API standard, for either the Buy Now or Pay Now options.
- Add Express checkout to existing SEPA sites or add to new SEPA sites.
- Use the Express Checkout methods alone or in combination with multistep checkout methods such as for credit cards, SEPA Debit, iDEAL, or BanContact payment methods.
